Steve Singleton

Canton – Steve Oscar Singleton, 74, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at his residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Guy and Lois Rogers Singleton.  Steve was a United States Navy veteran and the owner of Pisgah Oil Company and Mountain Realty.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Deaver Singleton; one daughter, Stephanie Stines and husband, Pete, of Canton; one brother, Dean Singleton and wife, Mary Ann of Clyde; and three grandchildren, Sophie, Josie, and Aubrie Stines.

At the family’s request, a private service will be held.
