Stephen Charles Rose

Stephen Charles Rose, 69, passed away peacefully at home on “Rose Mountain” on April 22, 2026, with his wife by his side.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Stephen was born on November 13, 1956, to the late Daniel Louis Rose and Euphemia Jean Archer. He was also preceded in death by his son, Deston Rose.

Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as an Avionics Aerospace Ground Equipment Specialist. After his military service in 1978, he worked with Xerox and used his skills in printer and copier repair to expand to his own personal business. Stephen was a fun-loving person who encouraged others and made a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 11 years, Carla Rose; daughter, Stephanie Ann Rose; sons, Verdis Rose, Jonathan Rose, Marcus Rose, Andre Rose, and Desmond Rose; stepchildren, Crystal White, Steven McCauley, Ramel Roberts, Terrance Roberts, Adia Roberts, and Isaiah Roberts; brothers, Corey Rose, Christopher Rose, Gene Rose, and David Rose; and eight grandchildren and Mother-in-law, Annie Caldwell, MN, Sister-in-law, Melissa Coleman (Erika), MN, Brother-in-law, Daniel Chatman, Jr. (Ramona), NV.

Family would like to extend they’re thanks to close friends Mark Brown and Tracy Lee for their support during this time, the loving community of Mountain Vista, the Charles George V.A. Medical Center and Four Seasons Hospice for all their care.
