Stanley Hildreth
April 30, 1941 — April 19, 2023
Maggie Valley, Stanley Gerald Hildreth, Sr., 81, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Pinehurst, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Columbus and Ruth Smith Hildreth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Curtis Hildreth. Stanley attended Citadel University and retired from Briggs and Stratton after many years as a Sales Manager.
Stanley is survived by his wife, of 35 years, Peggy Hildreth; two sons from a previous marriage, Jerry and Brad Hildreth; step-son, Chandler Tyre; step-daughter Britney Reynolds; grandsons, Hunter and Jared Hildreth, Michael Reynolds, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Jamie Hildreth.
The care of Mr. Hildreth has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
