Skyanne Shipman

Clyde-Skyanne Denise Shipman, age 3, of Clyde, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, October 29, 2006 at her residence after a courageous battle with Tay Sachs disease. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she is the daughter of Jerry and Beth Shipman, of Clyde; one sister, Angelisa Shipman, of the home; grandparents, Marty and Lisa Shipman and Jesse and Cheryl Arredondo all of Waynesville; great grandparents; Jerry and Pat Hemingway, of Clyde, Margaret and Albert Rathbone, of Waynesville, Herschel and Frances Shipman, of Canton, Norma Harvey of Ocala, FL and Raymunda Arredondo of Dannellon, FL; two aunts Nina Shipman and Kimberly Gray; and five uncles Jesse, David, Nicholas, Willliam and James. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville.
