Shirley Mull

Shirley Jean Crawford Mull, age 60, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Erastus and Frances Parton Crawford. Shirley was employed, as a pediatric nurse, with Sylva Pediatrics and Harris Regional Medical Center for 36 years. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jimmy Mull; one son, Steven Mull and his wife, Mekenzie, of Waynesville; and one brother, Steve Crawford and his wife, Phyllis, of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Reverend Steve Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
