Sheila Hall

Asheville – Sheila Langford Hall, 89, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 of natural causes.

Sheila was a native of Buncombe County and a daughter of the late Harold Langford and Ann McClellan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hammond Hall, Sr., who died in 2013; one son, Brian Hall; a daughter and her husband, Pamela and Frank Morris; and one brother, Calvin Langford.  Sheila was a graduate of Grace High School.  She loved her mountains, had an enthusiastic love for animals, and was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Foster in Asheville.

She is survived by her children, Jim and Sharon Hall, Shannon and Mike Egan, Kelly and Stephen Patton, Stacee and Dean Peterson, Chuck and Heike Hall, Nancy Hall and Brenda Hall; sisters, Jane Langford and Jennifer Dale, Effie and Christopher Ballis; a brother, Jim Langford; twenty grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Wells Funeral Home of Candler with the Pastor Patrick Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
