Sheila Fox

Asheville - Sheila Jo Wykle Fox, 59, of 324 Lower Grassy Branch Road, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 30 2018 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Sheehan Wykle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Ralph Steven Fox and a son, Raymond Steve Fox. She is remembered as a beautiful soul with a big heart who would do anything for anyone without hesitation. She was a loving, mother, sister, and aunt. Sheila enjoyed working in her garden and her pets.

She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Ann Fox and fiancé, Daniel Anderson, of Woodfin; three sisters, Patricia Ann Wykle of Morganton, Karen Wykle of Asheville, Kathy Roberts (Steve) of Canton; several nieces and nephews who love Aunt LaLa; and her dog, Rupert.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Allen Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Rockhill Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon, and Michael Wyatt, Jeff Creeden, Mike and Michael Norman, and Troy Jones. At other times, the family will receive friends and other family members at the home.
