Sharon Smith

Sharon Caldwell Smith, 64, of Waynesville passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at her residence. Sharon was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was a daughter of the late Floyd Thadus and Blanche Evelyn Cagle Caldwell. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carmel Caldwell. Sharon was employed for many years at Fantasy Hair Fashion as a beautician where she blessed many with her gift of helping others to look and feel their best. One of her favorite hobbies was listening to her police scanner. She was a courageous woman who is now pain free and in the loving care of her heavenly Father. Sharon is survived by one sister, Linda C. Evans and her husband, Arthur; one brother, Dwight Caldwell and his wife, Melissa, special cousin, Vickie Henry all of Waynesville and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Mark Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
