Sandra Gentry

Maggie Valley, Sandra Lee Gentry, age 48, of 372 Caldwell Hollow Road, died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was retired from Maggie Mountaineer Crafts as Assistant Manager after 26 ½ years. Sandy was a member of First Baptist Church of Maggie Valley. She is survived by her mother, Sue Gentry, of Maggie Valley; her fiancée, Pete Peterson as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Maggie Valley with Reverend Ricky Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Turner's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
