Sandra Belt

Canton – Sandra Caldwell Belt, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020, at her residence.

Sandra was the daughter of the late Jim and Annabelle Medford Caldwell, and was a native of Haywood County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Belt, and their son, Roger Wayne Belt.

She is survived by; two daughters, Elaine Pressley of Clyde, and Eugenia “Sissy” Franklin and husband, Harold, of Waynesville; one son, Alan Belt and wife, Cheri, of Clyde a brother-in-law, Arthur Roger Belt and wife, Marie; six grandchildren, Katherine Belt, Allison Skanes and husband, Scott, Amanda Franklin, Heather Creson and husband, Josh, Justin Belt and wife, Tammy, Jessie Belt and fiance, Scott Murray; nine great-grandchildren, Wesley Skanes, Gurdy Creson, Colby Adkins, Jayse Creson, Sadie Lowdermilk, Emeri Lowdermilk, Laila Belt, Eugene Belt, and Arie Murray.

A private graveside service was held on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with Reverend Greg Cullen officiating. Alan Belt, Harold Franklin, Heather and Josh Creson, Justin Belt, and Scott Murray served as pall bearers.
