Ryan Carolan

Waynesville-Ryan Mark Carolan, age 24, of 420 Killian Street, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004. He was a native of Bronx, New York and had resided in Haywood County for a year and a half. He was a cook at O'Malley's Pub and Grill. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rose and Bill Zerillo. He is survived by his mother, Donna Matthews McLaughlin of Waynesville; his father, Mark Bernard Carolan of Clyde; his stepfather, Patrick McLaughlin of Clyde; his daughter, Starlene Carolan of Bronx, NY; three sisters, Ghislaine Rose Matthews of Charleston, SC, Therise McLaughlin of Clyde, and Michelle Filipphone of Bronx, NY; one brother, Lenny Filipphone of Bronx, NY; and his paternal grandmothers, Agnes Carolan and Ann Filipphone, both of Bronx, NY. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2004 at Green Hill Cemetery. The Reverend Allen Blanton will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Monday, at Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Waynesville.
