Ruth Hall

Canton - Ruth Lindsay Hall, 89, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Haywood Lodge and Retirement Center.

A native of Cocke County, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ola Killian Lindsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E.G. Hall, who died in 1983; five brothers; and two sisters. Ruth retired from Haywood County Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of Central United Methodist Church of Canton. She enjoyed traveling, embroidering, Atlanta Braves, and going to Lake Chatuge.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Israel and Carroll, Rose Scott, and Darlene Leffler and Richard, all of Canton; one son, Ernie Hall and Carolyn of Clyde; one brother, Andrew Lindsey and Doris of Canton; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Paul Brown and Reverend Carrol Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the employees and staff of Haywood Lodge and Retirement Center for the care given to their mother.
