Ruth Cochran, 99, of Waynesville, NC, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. She was born on Howell Mountain on February 13, 1927, to loving parents Richard and Artie (Radford) Guy.

A Graveside Service will be held in honor of Ruth’s life on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Garrett-Hillcrest Cemetery, at 2:00 PM.
