Ruby Goodson

Candler - Ruby Rowena Brinkley Goodson, 94, passed away on Friday, October 06, 2017 at John F. Keever Solace Center.

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Ed and Ada Ingle Brinkley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garlan Matthew Goodson, who died in 1978; four brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by one son Levon Goodson and his wife, Pam, of Candler and three grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Roy Rigdon officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
