Ruby Franklin

Waynesville, Coleen Franklin, age 68, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lunsford Sr., and Bertha Elizabeth Coleman Overman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Buford Franklin, who died in 1997. Coleen spent her days reading and studying her Bible. Her passion in life was sharing the Gospel with friends and family. She is survived by a daughter, Sheila Inman and her husband, Jerry, of Waynesville; two brothers, R.L. Overman of Canton and James Franklin Overman of Tennessee; one sister, Faye Worley of Asheville; and one step-sister, Barbara Ann Cabe of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Ninevah Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Leslie officiating. Burial will follow at Crabtree Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
