Ruben Terry Caldwell, 70, of Haywood County, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Skyland Terrace. He was born in Transylvania County, to the late Ned Leroy and Delores Stiles Caldwell. Ruben was a Pharmacy Tech at Rite-Aid and a member of Pisgah Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brother, Mark Caldwell; nieces, Cindy and Devon Caldwell, and nephews, Steven and Daniel Caldwell.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 31st in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Canton with Pastor John Parris officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 12:30pm. Burial will follow the service at Old Bonaventure Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

The care of Mr. Caldwell has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
