Roy Mccoy

Roy Lee “Buddy” McCoy, 83, of Candler went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Mission Hospital, following a period of declining health.  A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late John Brack and Elsie Maye Stewart McCoy.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Glenna Sue Clark McCoy; his brother Gary McCoy and his wife Frances; his sister Opal McCoy Dillard; sons, Terry McCoy and his wife, Debbie and Danny McCoy and his wife, Marsha; grandchildren, Fawn East and her husband, Donald and Rae Woody and her husband, Nick, Joel McCoy and Lucas McCoy; four great-grandchildren, Eli and Novalei East and Conner and Cale Woody.

Private entombment will be held in the Wells Chapel of Faith Mausoleum at Forest Lawn.

The care of Mr. McCoy has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
