Ronald Rose, Sr.

On Wednesday June 19, 2019, Ronald Robert Rose Sr. died peacefully in his home in Waynesville, North Carolina at age 80.

Ron was born in Baltimore City, Maryland to Charles and Hazel Rose. After graduating from Penn State, Ron went on to pursue a 50-year career in dredge engineering.

Ron is survived by his wife, Lynne Margaret Deighton Rose; his children, Ronald Robert Rose Jr., Steven Douglas Rose, and Diane Carol Rose Drechsler; and his brother and sister, Douglas Rose and Carol Rose Earp. He was a grandfather to twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
