Ronal Lee "Ron" Prewitt

Leicester – Ronal Lee “Ron” Prewitt, 67, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.

Ron was formally of Williamsburg, Kentucky and a son of the late Joyce Griffith Prewitt.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie and Glenn Prewitt.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betsy Hamilton Prewitt; a son, Matthew Prewitt and his wife, Kelsey, of Fines Creek; two sisters, Linda Blanton of Lenoir and Lena Richie of Sylva; and one brother, Bobby Prewitt of Michigan.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Leicester with the Reverend Mark Caldwell officiating.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
