Roberta Nichols

Roberta Sue Gibbs Nichols, age 68, of 357 Twin Forks Road died Friday evening at her home. She was a native of Coles County, IL and the daughter of the late Robert and Betty Thompson Gibbs. She graduated from Eastern Illinois State University and was a paralegal, having been a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Beaverdam United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband of 42 years, Charles R. Nichols, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa Rae Konietzko and her husband, Mark of Long Lake, MN; two sons, Charles R. Nichols, Jr. and his wife, Marcie Stenmark of Tampa, FL, and Robert P. Nichols of St. Paul, MN; three sisters, Kara Haley of Clearwater, FL, Teresa Gibbs and Diane Gibbs both of Washington, DC and three grandchildren, Erin Nichols and Nicholas and Adam Konietzko. Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2005 at Beaverdam United Methodist Church with the Reverend Naomi King officiating. The family will receive friends following the services in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
