Robert Stevenson

Robert Louis Stevenson, age 63, died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at his residence. He was a native of Haywood County and the son of the late Homer L. and Thelma Hale Stevenson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Creson Stevenson who died in 1990. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Taylor and her husband, Gary of Leicester; a son, Jimmy Stevenson of Asheville; two sisters, Eva Brown of Clyde and Shirley Perry of Humbolt, TN and three grandchildren, Kellen, Casey and Brandi. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with the Reverend Carl Presnell officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
