Robert Joseph Dylewski

Robert Joseph Dylewski Sr., age 91, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Greens of Hendersonville.

A native of Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Thomas and Anna Krainski Dylewski. In addition to his parents, he is also proceeded in death by his loving wife of 68 years Mary Theresa Stasiulewicz Dylewski who passed this May. Bob was a loving husband and father who served during the Korean Conflict. He grew up on a farm and was the youngest of 11 children. He learned at a young age, the value and satisfaction of hard work and soon after he was married, started Bob’s Plumbing and Heating in Fairview, Pa. He loved to work outside and built 6 homes during his lifetime. He loved the outdoors and learned to hunt and fish from friends. He and his wife, Mary, enjoyed many perch and walleye fishing trips on Lake Erie and Lake Simco. After retiring Bob and Mary lived a quiet and simple life in their small home in Cherry Grove, Pa. Bob was especially fond of the woods and hills in Cherry Grove. He passed on his love for the outdoors and his hard work ethic to his children who all loved and respected him deeply. He was a man of quiet faith who lived that faith by example. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Brenda Ledbetter, of Marion, North Carolina; three sons, Bob Dylewski, Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann, of Mills River, Mark Dylewski and his wife, Terry, of Endwell, New York, and Mike Dylewski, of Mills River; eight grandchildren, Evan Dylewski, Sarah Webb (A.J.), Emma Ledbetter, Stephanie Van Meter (Kris), Bobby Dylewski (Hannah), Brandon Dylewski (Caroline), Nik Dylewski, and Matthew Dylewski; three great-grandchildren, Avilene and Paul Webb, and Robert Willis Van Meter.

 

The care of Mr. Dylewski has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
