Robert Green

Waynesville-Robert Carroll Green, age 60, died Thursday, April 22, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Green and Margie Lucille Goodson Green. He was a driver for the Enterprise Mountaineer for 13 years. He was a member of the Waynesville Moose Lodge and attended Waynesville Christian Fellowship Church. He is survived by two sons, Dickie Lynn Green of Kannapolis and Carroll David Green of Statesville; two sisters, Margaret Ann Messer and Fannie Moody, both of Waynesville; two brothers, Woodrow "Bud" Rosevelt Green of Watkinsville, GA. and Johnny Mack Green, of Waynesville; five grandchildren; and a special friend, Sally Rouser. Private graveside services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2004 with the Reverend Stephen Cheney officiating.
