Robert William Anderson, 86, of Morganton, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, as he went home to be with his Lord and Savior.
Born on July 17, 1939, in Haywood County, North Carolina, Robert was the son of the late William Ernest Anderson and Ruby Jo Queen Anderson.

He was a hardworking man who dedicated 19 years of service to Blue Ridge Paper as a paper machinist before retiring in 2000. He was happiest when spending time outdoors, tending to his flowers, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Above all, he cherished his family and the many memories they shared together. He also leaves behind his beloved Fur Baby and best buddy, “Jada,” who brought him much joy and companionship.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Duck Anderson, who passed away in 2019; his son, Forrest Anderson, who passed away in 2018; and his brothers, Ronald Anderson and Roger Anderson.
