Rikki Lynn Rogers, age 81, of Clyde, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 3, 2026.

A native of Haywood County, Rikki was born on August 6, 1944, to the late Martin Mclain Rogers and Mary Reece Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Lynda Gibson.

Rikki was a faithful member of Piney Grove Methodist Church, where she enjoyed playing the piano for 65 years, starting when she was only 14 years old. She was a dedicated bookkeeper for Patton, Morgan and Clark Insurance for more than 20 years and took great pride in her work. Rikki loved her animals, gardening, and working outside in her yard among her flowers. She will be remembered as a hardworking woman who truly enjoyed her role in life, her church and career.

She is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Channing and Vicky Gibson and family; Wendy Jo and Todd Ferguson and family; David and Mary Ann Gibson and family; Lisa Gibson and Angelique Golden; and Nicholas and Jessica Gibson and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
