Richard Moody

Canton - Richard Ray Moody, 73, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Lester Moody and Kate Grasty Crumpler Moody. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Dwight Crumpler. Richard was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Harry Worley officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
