Rebecca June Ann Henry

Rebecca June Ann Henry passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, at the age of 68, at Haywood Regional Hospital in Waynesville, NC.

Rebecca is survived by her daughters Twila Mehaffey (Travis), Wenzel Willis (Mark) and her son, Roy Free (Shannon). She is also survived by her baby sister, Toni Wilson, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren with another great grand daughter due next month and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved and adored. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Henry Sr, and Donna Talley, her only brother, Bill Henry Jr., and her big sister, Pamela Jameson as well as her lifelong best friend, Faith Jackson.

Rebecca spent many years in the service of helping others as an EMT, and loved telling the stories that came with that line of work. She loved her family with her whole heart. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life and would tell anyone that would listen about their latest accomplishments and antics.

At her request, a private memorial will be held at a later date. 

The family would like to thank Autumn Care of Waynesville for their amazing care while she was with them.

The care of Ms. Henry has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home.
