Readie Donaldson

Clyde – Readie Crane Donaldson, 89, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Haywood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Readie was a native of Georgia and a daughter of the late Pete and Mae Smith Crane.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Horace Donaldson, who died in 1991; two daughters, Judith Ann Donaldson and Susan Annette Wyatt; two brothers; and one sister.  Readie was a wonderful homemaker and a devout mother and grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Ronell Murphey of Waynesville and Debbie Donaldson of Clyde; two sons-in-law, Danny Davis and Tony Wyatt; one sister, Mary Rhinehart; seven grandchildren, Billy, Shane, Alisha, Rita, Toni, Pete, and Ethan; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Ray Shepard officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 pm prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
