Ralph Worley

Canton - Ralph Donald Worley, 82, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Carl Bronson and Rena West Worley. He was a United States Army veteran. Ralph enjoyed his family, camping going to the lake and was an avid Tar Heel and Atlanta Braves fan.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jane Devlin Worley; two daughters, Angela Vargas (Jeff) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Susan Worley of Canton; a son, Brian Worley of Canton; a brother, Charles Worley of Statesville, NC; and five grandchildren, Shelby, Olivia and Lindsay Vargas; and Jared and Jordyn Shoemaker.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
