Ralph Mitchell Davis, 71, of Asheville, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Born on January 24, 1955, in Buncombe County, North Carolina, Ralph was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and the son of the late Eugene Mitchell Davis and Retty Hall Davis. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Iyndon Davis.

Ralph worked as a maintenance mechanic with Square D Electric Company for over 14 years. He earned his associate degree in mechanics and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Growing up, he also helped his family operate the Davis Dairy Farm, something he took great pride in throughout his life.

Ralph was a member of Grace United Methodist Church since he was little.

He is survived by his sisters, Cathy Rymer (Stevie) and Susan Starr (Eddie); as well as seven nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2026, at Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
