Pollyanna Izlar

Clyde – Pollyanna Stamey Izlar, 51, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

Pollyanna was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of Roy and Barbara Harris Stamey of Clyde.  She was a 1989 graduate of Pisgah High School and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.  Pollyanna was a beautician by trade and worked along with her mother at Enchanting Hair Fashions for 25 years.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 26 years, Ed Izlar; one son, William Thomas Izlar of Clyde; and a sister, Shari Allen (Keith) of Wake Forest.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Beulah Baptist Church with the Reverend Barry Clark officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MANNA Food Bank, c/o Beulah Baptist Church, 483 Sunset Circle, Canton, NC  28716.
