Phyllis Haynes

Phyllis Ann Mease Haynes, age 68, died Sunday, December 04, 2005 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Henry Nelson and Anna Dee Smathers Mease. She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Haynes and a brother, Fred Francis. She was a member of Clyde Central United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Benoit of Milford, NH; two sons, Charles Haynes of Memphis, TN and K. Michael Haynes of Ft. Myers, FL; a sister, Aileen Rice of Canton; ten grandchildren Leigh Erin Haynes, Dennis "D. J." Haynes, Jr., Jessica Haynes, Amanda Haas, Heather Haynes, Katherine Haynes, Kristin Melton, Brandon Melton and Stephen and Colin Fryer; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Haas, Lillie Haynes and Amaya Melton. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Clyde Central United Methodist Church with the Reverend Randall Tingle and Reverend James Hart officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
