Peggy Radford

Candler – Peggy Ann Gosnell Radford, 87, was taken to her heavenly home on November 28, 2022, with her beloved family by her side at Pisgah Manor Nursing Home.

A native of Buncombe County, Peggy was the daughter of the late Ralph and Sarah Thomas Gosnell; in addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Jack Gosnell, and his wife, Dorothy; sisters, Clara Lovingood and Faye Deal; two brother-in-law’s James Lovingood and Jim Valentine; and three beloved nieces.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Mark Radford; her daughter, Rene Radford, and her friend, Tamra Dawsey; sister’s, Joyce Stepp, and her husband, Jim, and Deane Valentine; four nieces and two nephews.  The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Pisgah Manor for the care of their mother.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Wells Funeral Home Candler at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Bryan Myers.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the Wells Chapel of Faith.
