Peggy Lou Wilson Jordan

Peggy Lou Wilson Jordan, 79, a beloved, cherished family matriarch, entered the gates of Heaven peacefully on August 28, 2025.

Born on March 21, 1946, Peggy embraced life with an adventurous spirit, becoming known for her love of travel and her passion for exploring new restaurants and cuisines as a self-proclaimed foodie. Her light-hearted enthusiasm for life's pleasures was infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Peggy was a lifelong member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in Candler, NC, where she developed deep connections with fellow congregants, embodying the spirit of fellowship that the church fosters. Her faith was a central part of her life, and she cherished the community that welcomed her with open arms.

An avid collector of angels, Peggy found beauty and inspiration in their symbolism, reflecting her nurturing disposition. Her family, especially her grandbabies and grand fur babies, held a special place in her heart. She took immense joy in her relationships, continually expressing her love and support.

Left to cherish Peggy’s memory are her devoted son, Glenn Freck, and his wife, Johnnie Sue, grandsons Thomas and Ryan Freck, great-granddaughter Maelynn Geurink, and her beloved sisters, Linda Wright and Myra James. Peggy's legacy will continue through the cherished memories of her family and friends, who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ray and Florence Wilson, her husband, Dave Jordan, and her sister, Glenna Mann. Each of them played a significant role in her life, and she will be remembered fondly alongside them.

In honor of Peggy’s remarkable spirit, a visitation will be held on September 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Ridgeway Baptist Church, located at 525 Old U.S. 19-23, Candler, NC, with Pastor Mike Leslie officiating. The family invites all who knew Peggy to join in celebrating her remarkable life and the love she shared.
