Peggy Brown

Peggy Jean Carroll Brown, 81, of Candler passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Silver Bluff after a period of declining health.  A native of Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Morgan and Jewel May Carroll. She was also preceded in death by her son, Marshall Kevin Houston; grandson, Christopher Morgan Angelbeck; brother, Donald Carroll and sister, Ruby Carroll.

Peggy was a devout Christian and never met a stranger.  She earned her CPA certification and loved traveling and crafts. She particularly enjoyed making applique t-shirts and showering gifts on her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracey Angelbeck; brother, Pastor Steve Morgan Carroll; two grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Angelbeck and Beverly Houston and two great-grandchildren, Austin Mitchell Lakin and Garritt Mitchell Lakin.

No services are planned at this time.

The care of Mrs. Brown has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
