Pearl Ward

Pearl Ward, age 77, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Aston Park Health Care Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Maude Warren Clark. She retired from BASF with 35 years of service and was a member of Clyde Wesleyan Church. She is survived by a son, Charles Henry; a daughter, Betty Lockhart; and a brother, Ted Clark and his wife, Lillian. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend W. O. "Bill" Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
