Pearl Rice

Waynesville-Pearl Virginia Rice, age 60, of the Jonathan Creek Community, died on May 6, 2007. A native of Havre De Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Viola McFadden Rice and was also preceded in death by one brother. Pearl loved spending time with her grandchildren, loved her flowers, and spending time outdoors. She is survived by one daughter, Viola C. Rash, of the Jonathan Creek Community; her former son-in-law, Stanley Rash, of Canton; one sister; and two brothers; three grandsons, Ralph, Brian, and Stanley Rash III; and one granddaughter, Stacey Rash. A memorial service will be held at her residence at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 90 Stiles Road, Canton, NC 28716.
