Pauline Kirkpatrick

Fines Creek, Pauline Kirkpatrick, age 92, passed away June 11, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Agnes Ledford Kirkpatrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Kirkpatrick, who died in 1975; one grandson, Ricky Haynes; and a special nephew, Terry Kirkpatrick; three sisters and six brothers. Pauline loved to attend her home church Panther Creek Baptist. She also enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pauline was a wonderful cook and had a fondness for quilting and gardening. She is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Haynes and Martha Haney, both of Fines Creek; three grandchildren, Judy Ballard, Loretta Haynes, and Melinda Franklin; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Panther Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Ronald Greene and Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
