Paul Davis

Canton – Paul Jackson “Jack” Davis, 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital in Georgia.

Jack was a native of Kanawha County, West Virginia but also lived in West Palm Beach Florida and Canton North Carolina   He was a son of the late George and Mabel Madlen Davis.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Kelly Patrick Green.

Jack served in the United States Air Force and retired from Montgomery Distributers in West Palm Beach Florida.  He was an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, and active in his community as a volunteer of Haywood Christen Ministry and local food banks for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Lily Marx Davis; two daughters, Jacqueline Sue and Deann Lynn Davis; a son, William Howard Davis (Michelle); two stepdaughters, Kathy Lynn Kelly (William) and Lisa Ann Jarriel; one stepson, Danny Boy Green (Kathy); 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Paul Hensley officiating.
