Patsy Reynolds

Canton – Patsy Gaddy Reynolds, 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

Patsy was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Joseph Keller and Lola Medford Gaddy.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William Charles Reynolds, who died in 2014; sister, Jacquelyn Hyde; and brother, Jim Gaddy.  Patsy enjoyed traveling with Bill, fishing and going along hunting.  She missed him greatly.  Patsy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and making her famous raspberry jam.

She is survived by a daughter, Vicky Putnam (Ronnie) and son, Eric Charles Reynolds, all of Canton; sister, Janie Deweese and brother, David Gaddy, both of Canton; and two granddaughters, Karol Anne Putnam and Katie Irene Gebhardt (David); and one great-grandchild, Lucy Mae Gebhardt.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Morning Star Community Cemetery with the Reverend Jason Miller officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morning Star Community Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 1746, Canton, NC  28716.

The family would like to thank the staff at Silver Bluff for their love and care of Ms. Patsy.
