Patsy Moore "Buff" Holcombe

Patsy Moore "Buff" Holcombe, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Buncombe County. She was born on August 13, 1936, in Haywood County to the late Glenn and Alice Ford Moore.

Patsy enjoyed a successful career as a Real Estate Agent and was known for her professionalism and dedication to helping others find their dream homes. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Western Carolina University, which served as a solid foundation for her accomplished career.

Patsy had a deep love for her family and took great pride in being a devoted wife to her husband of 68 years, Ernest Holcombe Jr. They shared countless memories together and enjoyed traveling side by side. Patsy's warm personality and kind heart endeared her to all who knew her.

One of Patsy's proudest accomplishments was the love she had for her grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them and especially enjoyed attending their sporting events. Her support and encouragement meant the world to them.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her siblings, JoAnna Harrison,  Bobby Moore, Charles Moore, and Lucille Cooper.

She leaves behind a loving family including her husband Ernest Holcombe Jr., of Fletcher; their daughter Alicia Moore Holcombe Edwards (Timothy), of Mill Spring, NC; two sons Ernie Brett Holcombe (Danielle) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Patrick Ethan Holcombe (Tina) of Fletcher. Patsy is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Gunnar, Houston, Chase, Peyton, Sydney, and Jorden Holcombe; Coltan, Landry, and Adair Edwards; and one great-grandson Cohen Wade Taylor.

A funeral service to honor Patsy's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Scott Poole officiating.  Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. -2:15 p.m. prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Patsy Moore "Buff" Holcombe touched the lives of many throughout her life. She will be dearly missed but always remembered for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family.
