Patsy Foster

Canton - Patsy Ammons Foster, 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Catherine Ray Ammons.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, George M. Foster; three daughters, Cathy Steppleton Prince of Asheville, Stephanie Steppleton Shepherd (Tim) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and Tracy Foster Hall of Canton; one son, Jimmy Steppleton of Leicester; two brothers and their wives, Bobby and Gayle Ammons and Steve and Kathy Ammons, all of Canton; and six grandchildren, Peyton Willis, Haylee Hall, Stevie Shepherd, Addisen Shepherd, Bodie Steppleton and Chase Steppleton.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Nicole Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
