Patricia Sales

Rex, Ga - Patricia Marie Sales, 54, passed away peacefully in her home in the care of her husband of 33 years, Neil Sales, on Monday, October 28, 2018.

Patricia was born November 14, 1963 in New Albany, Indiana. She was the 8th child born to Flora Hayes and the late Chester Patrick Hayes. She lived with her parents and 8 siblings in Henryville, Indiana while growing up.

Patricia had one daughter born Amanda Nicole Hayes on August 30, 1980 and on February 16, 1985 she married Neil Sales whom also loving adopted her daughter Amanda.

In addition to her mother, Flora, she is survived by her husband of 33 years, Neil Sales; her daughter, Amanda Isenhardt (Joshua) of Shelby Twp, Michigan; her step-son, Christopher Sales (Heidi) of Strasburg, Virginia; two sisters, Ann Worrell (Will) and Theresa Spicer; and her six brothers, George (Barbara), Michael (Mary), Roy (Violet), John (Connie), Joseph (Diana) and William (Patsy). She was also blessed with and loved her two grandchildren, Ethan and Lilah Isenhardt and one step-grandchild, Taylor Sales.

As an avid reader, she would often finish an entire book in a single day. Which amounted to many overflowing bookcases and boxes and boxes of books. Patricia was known for her love of mystery novels especially those involving vampires.

She earned both her associates degree in nutrition and dietetics and a bachelor's degree in Education.

She was a loving mother and devoted wife. As an Army wife, she was blessed with the opportunity to travel and also live in many places, including North Carolina, Germany, Amsterdam, the fields of Holland, Paris, France, several islands of Hawaii, and finally settling with Neil and Amanda, in Georgia in 1993, where she lived until she passed.

Patricia will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at New Cruso Cemetery with the Reverend Josh Isenhardt officiating.
