Patricia Sue Lunsford Harrison, 78, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

A native of Buncombe County, North Carolina, Patricia was born on October 22, 1947, in Madison County, North Carolina. She spent many years in Candler and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched countless lives.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Buster Eldon Lunsford and Elsie Josephine Price Lunsford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Lunsford, and her stepson, Bruce Harrison.

For 23 wonderful years, Patricia shared her life with her beloved husband, Jim Harrison. She is also survived by her daughters, Meleisa Woods (Jeff) and Laura Davis (Byron); her stepson, James Harrison; her brother, Harold Lunsford (Barbara); her grandchildren, Katelyn Woods, Jake Woods (Cassie), and Eli Woods; as well as her niece, Leisa Rogers, and nephew, Jeff Lunsford. She also leaves behind her special fur baby “Rae”.

Patricia dedicated 17 years of service as an Office Manager for Howard Investigations. She was a faithful member of Biltmore Baptist Church and found great joy in her faith, family, and community. She loved music, taking scenic drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and spending time at the beach. Patricia treasured every moment with her family and was known for her love of sweets, her appreciation for life's simple pleasures, and watching Hallmark movies. Patricia will be remembered most for her generous spirit and the big heart she shared with everyone she met.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Jeff Lunsford officiating.

A private family burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
