Patricia Holcombe

Patricia “Patsy” Marie Holcombe, 77, of Asheville passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Mission Hospital following a period of declining health.  A lifelong native of Buncombe County, she was daughter of the late Willie Henry and Louise Jesse Galloway Holcombe.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Marguerite Medford and Shirley Salyer,

Patsy had a loving heart and a kind soul, she made friends everywhere she went and had an exceptional love for animals and children.  She enjoyed reading and crafting.

She was a member of Sardis Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Jeanette Holcombe Parker, Violet Harwood and her husband, Woody and Virginia Walker and her husband, Bob; her brothers, Ed Holcombe and his wife, Sylvia, Oscar Holcombe and his wife, Pauline and Willie Holcombe, Jr. and his wife, Margaret and several nieces, nephews, many great nieces, nephews and special friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

The care of Miss Holcombe has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
