Patricia Ann DeWeese Conard, 81, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, at Silver Bluff Village. Born on April 2, 1944, in Haywood County, NC. Patricia dedicated many years of her career to working at Peppertree Resort in Maggie Valley, where she developed friendships and connections that reflected her warm and inviting personality. She was a proud member of Rocky Face Baptist Church, which served as a cornerstone for her spiritual life and community involvement.

In addition to her devotion to family, Patricia found joy in the companionship of her animals and delighted in watching classic television shows particularly the “Oldies”. She was often found immersed in crossword puzzles during her spare time.

Patricia's greatest joy came from her family, especially her treasured grandbabies. She took immense pleasure in her role as a grandmother, showering her grandchildren with love and support. Her family legacy continues through her daughter Darla Henderson (James), her sons Tim DeWeese and Ritchie DeWeese (Tammy), Sister Janene Crunkerton (Jim) in Avon Park, FL. Her grandchildren Laura Henderson, Catherine Putman, and Faith DeWeese, and her great-grandchild Bruce Putman.

Patricia is predeceased by her beloved husband Richard "Pete" DeWeese, who left this world in 2010, as well as her parents Roy Conard and Addie Pressley Conard. She is also predeceased by her sister Revonda Inman, brothers Gary Conard and Ronnie Conard, and her son Steven DeWeese and granddaughter Olivia Putman, who all played significant roles in her life.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Silver Bluff Village.
