Oscar Walker

Candler – Oscar Ray Walker, 78, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at John F. Keever Solace Center.

A native of Townsend, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Alex and Velma Ledbetter Walker.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma A. Walker and son, Oscar Ray Walker, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Jamison Walker; two step-children, Larry Marcus Jones (Amber) and Heather Jones Weaver (Andrew), all of Candler; four step-grandchildren, Cassidy L. Sidden (Robert) of Candler, Makenzie A. Jones of Rockhill, South Carolina, Harvey and Lily Johnson of Candler; two sisters, Mary A. Mathis (L.V.) of Tuckasegee, North Carolina and Mabel Seabolt (Harold) of Maryville, Tennessee; and three brothers, Cecil Walker (Janice), Randel Walker (Betty), and Dale Walker, all of Maryville, Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Alan and Vernon Mathis, of Tuckasegee, Kirt Walker, Debbie Whitehead, Robin Smelcher, Joanna Seabolt, Terry Walker, Lisa Word, Merinda Walker and Heather Boring, all of Maryville, Tennessee.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Jason Bryson officiating.
