Olive Woody

Clyde-Olive Jane Woody, age 73, of Main Street, died Monday, June 28, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Julia Hooper McClure. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Mack McClure; and two brothers, Edward W. McClure, Jr. and Lawrence William McClure. She was a member of Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church. She is survived by four sisters, Iris McClure Blanton of Waynesville and Daytona Beach, FL, Louise McClure Corbin and twin sister, Ollie Jean McClure, both of Waynesville, and Ann McClure Plott of Greenville, SC; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at Plott Cemetery at Saunook with Reverend Paul Carden officiating.
