Nova Metcalf

Clyde- Nova Clontz Metcalf died Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Britthaven of Franklin. She was a daughter of the late Willie and Carey Lowe Clontz and the wife of the late Dewey Metcalf who died in 1985. Mrs. Metcalf was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Clontz who died in 1986; a sister, Annie Rogers and six brothers, Audrey, Charlie, Luthur, William, Carol, and Earl Clontz. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Lee Holland of Washington; two sisters, Lucille Raines of Maggie Valley and Francis Skidmore of Candler, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend David Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Morning Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at 156 Mattie Marion Road, Waynesville.
