Norine Moore

Norine West Moore, 81, of Candler, NC passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Park Ridge Health. She was a daughter of the late Walter Preston West and Catherine West Candler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Le Roi Moore, a son, Michael L. Moore, and a brother, Eddie Candler.

Norine worked for many years at the American Enka Plant and attended Francis Asbury United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter; Patricia Smith (Walter) of Candler, Jane E,. Moore (Terry Brown) of Clemmons, NC; a son, Jim Moore (Karen) of Candler; two sisters, Mary Swayngim and Miriam Cole of Candler; grandchildren, Beth Arrowood, Andy Miller, Kellie Deel, Leah Rupert, Keith Adkins, Clint and Tanner Moore, Tyler Moore-Boyd; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to Day Stay HBC, Inc., 135 Candler School Rd, Candler, NC 28715.

A private family service will be held.
